Senior Application Consultant

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Application Consultant to support its industrial software customers in the Oil & Gas and Food & Beverage sectors. The role involves delivering technical expertise on AVEVA System Platform and related SCADA solutions, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical troubleshooting, analysis and diagnosis of product, custom application and integration issues.
• Document activities and findings in the case tracking tool and ensure case updates align with service‑level agreements.
• Provide workarounds or fixes, replicate customer issues and develop technical documentation.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience with IT in Oil & Gas or Food & Beverage environments, including operations and management exposure.
• Hands‑on experience with current versions of AVEVA System Platform or any SCADA product.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, production, supply‑chain and plant maintenance processes.
• Excellent presentation, communication and mentoring abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft SQL Server development and administration (SQL, PL/SQL, T‑SQL).
• Microsoft Visual Studio with VB.net and/or C#.
• Experience with AVEVA System Platform or other SCADA solutions.
