Senior API Support Team Lead

About the role

DSV is seeking an experienced Senior API Support Team Lead to oversee global API platform operations. The role blends deep technical expertise with operational leadership to ensure a stable, scalable, and customer‑focused API environment across both cloud and on‑premises platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the API Support function, managing day‑to‑day operations, workload distribution, escalations and service delivery.
• Define, implement and continuously improve global API support processes, governance and SLA compliance.
• Act as primary escalation point for critical incidents and high‑impact production issues.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching, performance management and technical guidance.
• Support API gateway operations, integration troubleshooting, certificate management, security policy enforcement and deployment validation.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, development teams and business stakeholders to enhance reliability, monitoring, automation and observability.
• Participate in architecture and operational readiness discussions for new platform initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading API support or operations teams in a global, multi‑site environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills with a focus on ownership and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication abilities to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
