Senior Analyst, People Analytics

About the role

Mastercard’s Global People Operations & Insights team is seeking a Senior Analyst to drive people‑analytics and reporting across the organization. The role will support data‑driven talent decisions by delivering consistent, scalable insights to leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Produce regular and ad‑hoc reports on workforce metrics for senior leaders.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
• Query and transform HR data from Workday and other sources using SQL/T‑SQL.
• Standardise analytical outputs and introduce best‑practice reporting processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across multiple time zones to ensure data quality and governance.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in People or HR analytics.
• Strong ability to communicate technical results to non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment.
• Experience handling multiple priorities and working within data‑privacy standards.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
• SQL or T‑SQL for data extraction.
• BI tools – Tableau or Power BI.
• HRIS experience – Workday preferred.
• Familiarity with R for data analysis (optional).
