Senior Analyst, GBS Data Analytics

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is hiring a Senior Analyst, GBS Data Analytics in Hyderabad, India. As part of its Global Business Services team, the role leads the transformation of the global data ecosystem, building the data foundations that support smarter decisions across functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale data pipelines and advanced analytics dashboards, including solutions powered by Copilot Agents or Claude.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation and modelling workflows across structured and cloud-based systems.
• Build and implement scalable, secure, high-performance data products using Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake and Power BI.
• Translate complex business and finance requirements, including OTC, STP and RTR, into data strategies enhanced by AI-driven insights.
• Develop governed Power BI datasets and dashboards that enable self-service analytics.
• Implement and maintain data governance, data quality and compliance standards.
• Share expertise and promote best practices to grow data engineering capabilities within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in data analytics.
• Proven track record designing, building and scaling cloud-based data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Solid understanding of finance domains such as Order to Cash (OTC), Source-to-Pay (STP) and Record to Report (RTR).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, able to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, global environments and interested in emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Expert-level SQL and relational databases.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Familiarity with Copilot Agents or Claude for insight generation.
• Preferred: enterprise-grade orchestration tools, Python, agile development, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
