Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics

About the role

The Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACOE) in India is looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Fraud & Safety Delivery team. You will partner with product and business leaders to provide data‑driven insights, build analytical tools, and help shape risk‑management policies across Airbnb’s marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust metrics, dashboards and data narratives that inform product and policy decisions.
• Execute end‑to‑end data projects, including data modeling, ad‑hoc reporting, root‑cause analysis and impact assessments.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and operations teams to influence machine‑learning models and automate policy enforcement.
• Maintain data quality and integrity by blending internal and external data sources.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in analytics or data science and an advanced degree in a quantitative field (Masters or PhD a plus).
• Proven ability to deliver full‑stack data projects from inception to business impact.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex analysis to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, cross‑cultural environments.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SQL/NoSQL and programming languages such as Python, R and SAS.
• Experience with data platforms like Presto, Hive, Teradata and Spark.
• Solid knowledge of statistical and machine‑learning techniques (regression, SVM, random forest, NLP, A/B testing, etc.).
• Ability to create visualisations and dashboards using Tableau or similar BI tools.

What we offer

• Annual pay range of ₹1,960,000–₹2,800,000 INR.
