Senior Accounts Payable Specialist – Spanish Speaking (LATAM)

About the role

Numerator is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist who is fluent in Spanish to support its LATAM operations. You will manage the full‑cycle AP process, ensure timely payments, and help improve month‑end close efficiency while maintaining compliance with GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, issue payments, and handle AP inquiries and aging reports.
• Resolve vendor issues through calls, emails, or written correspondence.
• Review and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements.
• Record AP‑related journal entries and perform balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries to address payment and accounting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to automate and enhance AP workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or AP.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years dedicated to accounts payable.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with NetSuite, Quadient, and Concur (preferred).
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
