About the role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a UK‑based pharmaceutical company operating in Surat. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance and supporting financial reporting. The position reports to the Finance Manager and collaborates with cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accounts, VAT returns and ensure statutory compliance.
- Finalize year‑end accounts and manage the audit process.
- Handle budgeting, financial reporting and month‑end close activities.
- Work within defined shift timings (01:00 PM‑10:30 PM April‑Oct; 02:00 PM‑11:30 PM Nov‑Mar).
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Educational qualification: B.Com, M.Com, Inter CA or equivalent.
- In‑depth knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
Required skills
- Proficiency with QuickBooks.
- Experience using Tally ERP.
- Knowledge of Sage accounting software.
