Senior Accountant

About the role

Infistar Renewables is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The role involves managing GST/TDS filings, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and supporting audit activities within a fast‑growing renewable‑energy and EPC environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and supporting schedules; record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, debit and credit notes.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, prepare invoices, monitor vendor payables and customer receivables.
• Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations and oversee banking operations.
• Coordinate GST return preparation, input tax credit verification, and TDS calculations, deductions, and payments.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, profit & loss statements, balance‑sheet schedules, cash‑flow information, and management reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and analyze variances.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Track project‑related costs for CBG plants and EPC projects, liaise with project and procurement teams on invoices and payments.

Required profile

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong practical experience with Tally Prime or similar ERP accounting systems.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, income‑tax basics and Indian accounting practices.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and experience in project‑based or EPC accounting preferred.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
