Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with US/Canadian accounting standards. The role involves managing the general ledger, overseeing AP/AR processes, and supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily general ledger operations, prepare and post complex journal entries, and maintain financial accuracy.
• Execute full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing and cash management.
• Perform routine bank reconciliations and balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Drive month‑end and year‑end closing activities within established timelines.
• Lead internal and external audit support, preparing schedules and required documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statement analysis in line with corporate policies and US/Canadian accounting frameworks.
• Maintain complete, compliant financial records and support internal process controls.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Mandatory experience supporting internal and/or external audits.
• Solid exposure to US and Canadian accounting standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
