Senior Accountant

About the role

Asset Homes is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Ernakulam. The role is full‑time and on‑site, supporting the company’s real‑estate and construction projects through accurate financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers, prepare financial statements and ensure accurate transaction recording.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations and handle payroll‑related accounting.
• Monitor budgets, assist financial planning, and provide analysis for project decisions.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with project and management teams to deliver financial insights and reports for ongoing and upcoming real‑estate developments.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management and financial reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, preferably in real‑estate or construction.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CMA or a bachelor’s/master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
