Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will ensure accurate and compliant recording of all financial transactions for the organization. This position supports timely financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls across multiple functions.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain purchase orders, vendor bills, payments, and fixed‑asset registers.
• Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns (GST, TDS, PT, PF, MLWF).
• Process employee reimbursement claims, investment declarations, and proofs of investment.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, GST, TDS, and general‑ledger transactions.
• Support vendor management, asset accounting, and payroll‑related processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in GCC, MNC, IT, or ITES sectors.
• Strong understanding of double‑entry bookkeeping, Ind AS, and GAAP.
• Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and professionalism when handling financial data.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoho financial management system.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Intermediate‑level Excel skills.
