Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our internal accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, coordinating with banks, and overseeing tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily internal accounting tasks, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month‑end closing.
• Handle bank‑related activities such as bank reconciliation, payment processing, fund transfers, and liaison with banking institutions.
• Oversee loan documentation, repayment schedules, interest calculations, and coordination with lenders.
• Prepare and manage import & export documentation, working with customs, logistics, and banks.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports covering finance, accounts receivable/payable, cash flow, and business performance.
• Manage GST compliance, including returns, reconciliations, input tax credit, and related reporting.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, returns, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate Income Tax accounting and compliance, working with auditors and consultants.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Maintain documentation for audit and statutory compliance; support internal and external auditors.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliation and follow‑up.
• Provide management with financial analysis, reports, and accounting information as needed.
• Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in accounting functions.
