Senior Accountant / Finance Executive

About the role

ECS is looking for a Senior Accountant / Finance Executive to manage and oversee financial operations, including accounting, taxation, compliance, payroll and financial reporting. The role suits someone with strong expertise in financial management and statutory compliances, with a preference for experience in IT companies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, manage cash, reconcile bank and balance sheets, and coordinate audits and finalise annual financial reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing and tax filings
• Manage statutory compliances in India (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT and Income Tax)
• Support budgeting and data analysis

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA/M.Com. in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a sales-driven or service-based organisation
• Strong leadership, analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail

Required skills

• GAAP and Indian statutory compliances (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, Income Tax)
• Accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho or ERP systems
• MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Express

Good to have: experience with service exports and offshore accounting, insurance policy negotiation and loss control, and managing banking relationships and credit lines.
