Senior Accountant – Ahmedabad

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing invoices, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting statutory audits.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and verify purchase and expense invoices against PO and GRN.
• Prepare and post year‑end closing and adjustment entries, including GST, TDS, depreciation, and provisions.
• Prepare monthly GST data for GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B and reconcile GSTR‑2B; file yearly GST returns (GSTR‑9, GSTR‑9C).
• Manage TDS payments and quarterly TDS returns.
• Assist in statutory audits, income‑tax return preparation, tax audit work, advance tax calculations, and 26AS reconciliations.
• Handle personal accounts and related financial tasks.
• Coordinate with external consultants for audits, tax filings, and compliance.

Required profile

• Graduation or Inter CA qualification.
• 4‑5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS and income‑tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting and financial software.
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
