Senior Account Manager – Mobility (PR)

About the role

The PRactice is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead its Mobility practice in Bangalore. You will own client relationships, drive strategic communication initiatives, and mentor a growing team while working with brands shaping the future of mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage client relationships and day‑to‑day account delivery.
• Develop and execute strategic communication plans aligned with client business objectives.
• Lead media relations, content creation, thought‑leadership and integrated communication initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with media, influencers, industry bodies and other key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and generate repeat or expanded business.
• Oversee account operations, timelines, quality and deliverables.
• Mentor and guide team members, ensuring effective planning, execution and professional development.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients and proactively spot communication opportunities.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in PR, communications and client servicing.
• Strong account management and client relationship skills.
• Proven experience in media relations and creating compelling communication campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
• Experience managing and mentoring teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of digital and social media as part of an integrated communications strategy.
• Interest in and understanding of the evolving mobility ecosystem; prior exposure to auto, manufacturing, aviation or space clients is a bonus.
