SE/MBSE Engineer

About the role

The SE/MBSE Engineer will drive system engineering activities from concept through retirement for Airbus products. You will work closely with stakeholders, IS/IT specialists and cross‑functional teams to define, model, analyse and validate system architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Identify stakeholders for the model‑based tool (M&T) and capture their needs.
• Define the boundary of the M&T and elicit, validate requirements across the system lifecycle.
• Design and propose architectures in collaboration with IS/IT specialists, considering functional and constraint requirements.
• Lead M&T modelling using appropriate methods and tools.
• Conduct performance and trade‑off analyses to select optimal solutions.
• Validate architectures and manage interface requirements.
• Lead verification of implementations and interfaces.
• Oversee operational and in‑service evaluation.
• Perform impact analysis for design change requests throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Professional experience in system engineering covering concept development to retirement.
• Ability to engage stakeholders, capture requirements and manage interfaces.
• Strong analytical skills for performance, trade‑off and impact analyses.
• Experience leading modelling, verification and operational evaluation activities.
• Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
