Security & Surveillance Officer

About the role

The Security & Surveillance Officer will join the security team and be responsible for the smooth operation of the control room. The role ensures continuous monitoring, recording and maintenance of all surveillance equipment to keep the premises safe.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the control room and guarantee uninterrupted CCTV monitoring and recording.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance (PPM) of CCTV systems with vendors.
• Track the transport fleet and ensure proper functioning of security hardware such as X‑Ray baggage scanners, HHMD, DFMD, mechanical gates, bollards, turnstiles and walkie‑talkies.
• Assist security staff with visitor and management systems as well as third‑party verification (TPV) processes.
• Maintain accurate records, logs and reports for all security activities.
• Immediately alert the Crises Management Team of any unauthorized movement.
• Support the Security Manager in implementing safety and security measures across the site.

Required profile

• Experience working in a security or surveillance environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced control‑room setting.
