Security Project Manager – Cybersecurity Programs

About the role

Persistent is seeking a Security Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity programs within its Security Practice. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing project scope, schedule, budget, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of security projects, defining scope, schedule, budget, resources and risk.
• Coordinate engineering, GRC, SOC and client stakeholders to track milestones and manage dependencies.
• Report project status to leadership and customers, and drive governance cadences and steering committees.
• Proactively manage project risks, issues and change requests.
• Ensure delivery aligns with SLAs, security standards and compliance obligations.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in security project and program management.
• Proven track record managing complex cybersecurity or IT projects.
• Strong command of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 or CSM.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership abilities.
