Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting people, property and information across the premises. Working closely with clients, employees and emergency services, the role ensures a safe environment through proactive monitoring and rapid response to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and employees.
• Patrol the premises, monitor CCTV feeds and control access points.
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism and other illegal activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and emergencies.
• Prepare and submit incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Assist visitors, verify identification and maintain visitor logs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with police, fire departments and emergency medical personnel when required.

Required profile

• Minimum graduate degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT security or related roles.
• Age between 21 and 40 years.
• Physically fit and medically cleared.
• No criminal background.

Required skills

• Familiarity with basic security equipment such as CCTV systems.
• Experience operating metal detectors.
