Security Officer – IT Park

About the role

The Security Officer will ensure a safe, secure and compliant environment within the IT Park. This role oversees 24/7 security coverage, access control, visitor management and emergency response coordination. The officer works closely with internal teams and external agencies to maintain high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide continuous security coverage, manage access control points and supervise visitor registration.
• Monitor CCTV systems, conduct regular patrols and respond to incidents promptly.
• Coordinate evacuation drills, fire safety exercises and overall crisis management.
• Ensure statutory compliance, conduct security audits and enforce SOPs.
• Oversee security vendor performance, staff training, attendance and conduct performance reviews.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS, incident reports and security dashboards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security operations within a corporate or industrial setting.
• Ability to coordinate emergency response and liaise with fire services and police.
• Strong coordination skills with internal departments (Operations, Engineering, Housekeeping) and external agencies.
• Competence in preparing detailed MIS, incident reports and security dashboards.
