Forensics & Ethics Investigator

About the role

Paytm is seeking a Forensics & Ethics Investigator to lead investigations into alleged ethical violations. The role involves conducting thorough, unbiased inquiries, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with HR, legal, and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough ethics investigations, including interviews, document review, and evidence gathering.
• Analyze findings to assess severity and impact of violations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies and legal requirements.
• Develop comprehensive investigation plans with timelines, interview schedules, and evidence collection strategies.
• Collaborate with HR, legal, and senior management to align processes and provide guidance.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports documenting findings, analysis, and recommended actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, ethics, CA, MSW or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience conducting ethics investigations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of ethical principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High integrity, ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management capabilities.
