Security Engineer

About the role

InterScripts Software Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Security Engineer to strengthen its Cybersecurity Program. You will be responsible for protecting information systems, network infrastructure, and organizational data through proactive security measures and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Program.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and security reviews.
• Maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
• Design and implement cybersecurity strategies and security architectures.
• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain security tools and infrastructure.
• Monitor networks and systems for breaches and suspicious activities.
• Develop preventive security measures and improve security controls.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.
• Prepare security reports, dashboards, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to address security risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or High School diploma with 5+ years.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Preferred experience in healthcare information security and third‑party risk assessments.
