Security Bodyguard & Driver (VIP Protection)

About the role

The Security Bodyguard & Driver provides close protection to VIP clients while safely operating their vehicle across India. This dual‑role position blends executive protection duties with professional driving, ensuring the client’s safety during travel, public appearances and at residential or work sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver close physical protection to designated VIPs, maintaining constant situational awareness and coordinating with site security teams.
• Conduct route surveys, risk assessments and develop contingency plans before each assignment.
• Operate assigned sedan, SUV or armored vehicle, adhering to traffic regulations and VIP protocols, and performing pre‑trip vehicle checks.
• Respond swiftly to attacks, medical emergencies or road incidents, evacuating the principal and notifying law enforcement as per SOP.
• Maintain confidentiality of client schedules, locations and personal information at all times.
• Secure the vehicle when parked, monitor surroundings during stops and report any suspicious activity.

Required profile

• Minimum 10th pass (12th preferred); valid LMV driving licence.
• 3‑7 years of accident‑free driving experience and 3‑7 years in personal security or VIP driving roles.
• Age 28‑50 years, height at least 5’8”, physically fit and alert.
• Prior experience as a bodyguard, ex‑serviceman or PSO is preferred.

Required skills

• Defensive and evasive driving techniques under pressure.
• Basic first‑aid knowledge and ability to coordinate emergency medical evacuation.
• Understanding of security protocols, threat assessment and protective formations.
