Security Analyst (SOC)

About the role

We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our 24x7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Ahmedabad. The analyst will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across the organization’s infrastructure, ensuring rapid mitigation of threats.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor network, systems, and applications using SIEM platforms.
• Detect, triage, and investigate security alerts and incidents.
• Escalate critical incidents to senior response teams.
• Perform basic threat hunting and vulnerability identification.
• Document incidents and contribute to incident reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a SOC or similar security‑focused role.
• Willingness to work in shift or on‑call rotation.
• Strong desire to grow in cybersecurity and SOC operations.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.
• Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Ability to detect and respond to malware, phishing, and other cyber threats.
• Foundational threat‑hunting techniques.
• Basic vulnerability management and reporting.
• Familiarity with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Malware analysis and phishing detection techniques.
• Security incident management and basic forensic analysis.
