Section Head - Civil

About the role

We are seeking a Section Head – Civil to lead the maintenance and development of civil infrastructure across the plant. The role oversees building stability, manages civil projects, and ensures cost‑effective operations while meeting quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and control maintenance activities of civil infrastructure to ensure stability of buildings and structures.
• Conduct regular inspections, analysis and rectifications, and verify contractor bills.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, vendors and internal customers for technical discussions, specifications and order placements.
• Administer, monitor and control civil projects and schemes, preparing estimations, schedules and ensuring timely execution within budget.
• Finalize major contractors, plan and co‑ordinate site activities, and manage material inventory and waste reduction.
• Monitor maintenance expenditures, compare actual costs against budget and implement cost‑optimization measures.
• Interact with vendors, OEM suppliers and internal teams for technical specifications, procurement and inventory optimization.

Required profile

• Experience in plant civil infrastructure maintenance and project management.
• Ability to interact with consultants, architects and vendors for technical discussions.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control and inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills for monitoring expenses and implementing improvements.
