Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will join our Mohali office to lead and execute SEO strategies that boost organic visibility across Google and emerging AI‑driven search platforms. This full‑time position works closely with content, design and development teams to embed SEO best practices throughout our digital properties.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO plans to improve rankings and traffic.
• Conduct keyword research and create content optimization recommendations.
• Perform technical and on‑page SEO audits, identifying issues related to site speed, mobile‑friendliness, indexing and crawlability.
• Optimize website architecture, metadata, schema markup and internal linking structures.
• Manage ethical link‑building campaigns to acquire high‑quality backlinks.
• Track performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other analytics tools.
• Produce regular performance reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure SEO considerations are integrated into new projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in keyword research, on‑page SEO and technical SEO audits.
• Hands‑on experience with link‑building strategies and backlink analysis.
• Strong familiarity with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals including site speed, mobile‑friendliness, indexing and crawlability.
• Knowledge of AI‑driven search, schema markup and optimization for generative engines is a plus.
• Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog or Moz.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
