Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist to join our team in Kozhikode. In this full-time, on-site position you will design and execute SEO strategies that boost organic visibility and drive qualified traffic to both client and company websites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO plans aligned with business goals.
• Conduct keyword research and translate findings into actionable site and content optimizations.
• Perform technical SEO audits to uncover and resolve issues affecting crawlability, performance, and rankings.
• Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, URLs, internal linking and content structure.
• Lead ethical link-building campaigns to increase domain authority and referral traffic.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated.
• Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and other tools, producing regular reports and recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with algorithm changes, industry trends and emerging SEO techniques.

Required profile

• Proven ability to conduct keyword research and SEO audits.
• Experience planning and executing link-building initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS and familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
