Science Facilitator - Middle School - British Curriculum

About the role

The Science Facilitator for Middle School (British Curriculum) will deliver high‑quality online science classes to grades 6‑8. Working remotely, you will create engaging, student‑centred lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with parents and internal teams to ensure a holistic learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled online science classes, maintaining high teaching standards and student engagement.
• Manage virtual classrooms, including handling substitutions as needed.
• Research, design, and deliver structured lesson plans aligned with the British curriculum.
• Develop teaching materials such as presentations and learning resources for daily classes.
• Create an inclusive learning environment, adapting approaches to diverse learner needs.
• Plan and administer formal and informal assessments, record performance, and provide feedback.
• Communicate proactively with parents, respond to queries, and participate in parent meetings.
• Collaborate with fellow facilitators and academic teams for curriculum alignment and delivery consistency.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience teaching science at middle‑school level.
• Strong knowledge of the British curriculum for grades 6‑8.
• Ability to engage students in a virtual classroom setting.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
