About the role
We are looking for a dedicated School Helper to provide general support and maintain a clean, safe learning environment. The role involves daily cleaning tasks across classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas, ensuring hygiene standards are consistently met. You will work closely with school staff to promptly address any cleaning needs.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties to keep the school premises tidy.
- Ensure hygiene standards are met in classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas.
- Monitor and report on cleaning supplies and equipment levels.
- Collaborate with school staff to address specific cleaning requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of all school facilities on a regular schedule.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.
Required skills
- Strong cleaning and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in maintaining hygiene.
- Knowledge of best cleaning practices and proper use of equipment.
