About the role
We are looking for a dedicated School Helper to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our learning environment. The role involves supporting staff by performing routine cleaning tasks across classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and hygienic school environment.
- Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways and other shared spaces.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or issues.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to address specific cleaning needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and safeguarding standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in cleaning, janitorial or similar roles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.
Required skills
- Knowledge of cleaning best practices.
- Proficiency in operating standard cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
