SAP Vertex RnA Techno-Functional Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a SAP Vertex RnA Techno‑Functional Consultant to design, configure and support Vertex Revenue and Accounting solutions. The role bridges business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and incentive management within the SAP landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design and implement solutions using Vertex Revenue and Accounting (RnA) to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand revenue accounting and incentive processes.
• Configure Vertex RnA modules and integrate them with SAP systems.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment and post‑production support.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues across the Vertex RnA landscape.
• Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams on custom developments and enhancements.
• Support data validation, reconciliations and optimisation of revenue accounting processes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Vertex IP concepts such as Master Agreement, Agreements & Deals, Pricing, Buckets, Claims, and calculation runs.
• Experience with revenue accounting, incentive processing and financial reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Vertex Revenue and Accounting (RnA) – functional expertise.
• Vertex Incentive Processing concepts.
• Basic technical knowledge of SAP ABAP OO, CDS Views and AMDP.
• Familiarity with SAP integration points.
