SAP SD Consultant for Application Support and Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our Application Support and Maintenance team in Bangalore. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality incident, service request and problem resolution for SAP Sales & Distribution processes while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve SAP SD incidents, service requests and problem tickets within defined SLA/KPI targets.
• Perform configuration, master‑data changes and end‑to‑end process flow support.
• Handle output management through EDI, file transfer, email, PDF forms, scripts and SmartForms.
• Manage Idoc processing, error handling and mapping.
• Set up and monitor background jobs, analyse job errors.
• Support delivery, shipment, picking, packing and Warehouse Management interface topics.
• Configure pricing, credit management, availability check, revenue recognition and billing related activities.
• Assist with sales returns, free‑of‑charge deliveries, inter‑company, STO and billing processes.
• Provide ABAP debugging assistance and maintain SO10 texts where required.

Required profile

• B.Sc/BE/B.Tech/MBA degree.
• 4‑6 years of hands‑on experience in SAP SD consulting.
• SAP SD certification, preferably S/4 HANA; ITIL certification is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.

• Cross‑module knowledge (CS, MM, FI/CO, PP, APO, GTS) – advantageous.
