SAP Project Systems Support Engineer (SME)

About the role

We are looking for an SAP Project Systems (PS) Support Engineer to join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Pune. You will be responsible for monitoring SAP error handling, performing root‑cause analysis, and ensuring smooth integration between SAP and related PM tools.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage SAP error handling workflows from the system inbox.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve issues in SAP/PM tools, coordinating with relevant teams.
• Support integration between PM tools, middleware, and SAP to ensure seamless data flow.
• Execute month‑end activities, including hours integration checks, discrepancy resolution, and missing data handling.
• Perform SQL‑based database validation to identify and fix integration problems.
• Handle invoice transfer issues and work‑package validations in SAP.
• Maintain error logs, documentation, and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Support SAP technical upgrades by executing business process test scenarios, managing test data, and providing extended support during upgrade cycles.
• Coordinate data validation, cleansing, and issue tracking across business processes, working closely with key users and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in SAP support or functional roles.
• Experience with month‑end operational support and incident resolution.
• Exposure to SAP upgrades/testing is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of SAP Project Systems (PS) module.
• Basic knowledge of SAP SD and/or MM modules.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end business processes such as O2C and P2P.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
