SAP Functional Expert – Global Trade Services

About the role

Sandvik is seeking a senior SAP Functional Expert to lead Global Trade Services (GTS) initiatives within its ERP transformation. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP GTS solutions that support export controls, customs compliance, and global trade processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional design across SAP GTS modules including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.
• Translate business trade compliance requirements into scalable SAP solutions aligned with global architecture.
• Collaborate with legal, logistics, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate trade compliance.
• Integrate SAP GTS with SAP SD, MM, FI, LE and external systems.
• Support ongoing S/4HANA transformation projects and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current with global trade laws and ensure SAP GTS remains compliant.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a senior functional consultant in SAP GTS.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional IT and business teams.
• Strong understanding of export controls, customs regulations, and sanctions screening.
• Experience supporting S/4HANA migration and global ERP initiatives.
