Saleswoman – Travel & Tourism Sales

About the role

Pickup Trails is seeking a motivated Saleswoman to join its on‑site team in Kozhikode. You will be responsible for promoting travel and tourism packages to both domestic and international customers, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to booking.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with prospective and existing customers, presenting travel and tourism packages.
• Respond to inquiries, follow up on leads, and conduct sales calls or in‑person meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Coordinate with operations and destination management teams to align expectations with service delivery.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales.
• Contribute to local marketing activities and maintain accurate records of interactions and bookings.
• Support ongoing customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer‑relationship skills, with the ability to build trust, identify client needs, and close deals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; proficiency in English and local languages used in Kerala.
• Knowledge of tourism, travel products, and destination management, preferably with experience in Kerala or medical tourism.
• Basic computer and CRM proficiency, comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and booking or inquiry management tools.
• Ability to work on‑site, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client inquiries in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in sales, travel agencies, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Tourism, or a related field.
