Salesperson – Textile Chemicals (Jodhpur)

About the role

DMK Ventures is seeking a full‑time Salesperson to promote its textile‑grade guar gum powders and printing thickeners. Based in Jodhpur, the role focuses on building new business and nurturing existing relationships with textile mills, processing houses, and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the textile sector.
• Conduct regular market visits and on‑site product demonstrations.
• Present technical product benefits, handle inquiries, and prepare quotations.
• Follow up leads to close sales and achieve defined targets.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Collect customer feedback and share market insights with management.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, orders, and sales activities.
• Represent DMK Ventures at client meetings and industry events.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience in an industrial or textile environment.
• Ability to conduct on‑site product demonstrations and explain technical features.
• Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Minimum high school diploma; a degree in Business, Commerce or a textile‑related field is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Ahmedabad, Jetpur, Rajkot and surrounding industrial areas.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to collaborate with operations and management teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Experience using basic CRM tools.
