Salesforce DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer you will design, implement and manage DevOps practices across the Salesforce ecosystem. You will collaborate with administrators, developers, architects and release managers to automate and streamline development, testing, deployment and release processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD strategies for multiple Salesforce environments.
• Automate code deployments, testing, validation and release pipelines using leading DevOps tools.
• Manage source‑control repositories, branching strategies and version control using Git‑based platforms.
• Establish release management processes to ensure reliable, predictable deployments.
• Collaborate with development, QA and architecture teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Implement environment management, version control and deployment governance best practices.
• Monitor pipelines, resolve release issues and support Salesforce DX adoption.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit and change‑management requirements.

Required profile

• 6‑12 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps or related roles.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset, Flosum, AutoRABIT).
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, package management and metadata deployment.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket and branching/merging workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
