Sales & Operations Executive – Logistics (Kolkata)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales & Operations Executive to drive new business and nurture existing client relationships in the logistics sector. The role focuses on generating revenue from B2B leads, quoting and negotiating Full Truck Load (FTL) shipments, and ensuring high margins while expanding our presence in the assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business from shared leads and respond to B2B quotation requests.
• Negotiate rates with customers, brokers, and fleet owners to secure optimal FTL contracts.
• Conduct field visits to assess goods, routes, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Traffic Executives to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers and vendors, providing feedback and building long‑term partnerships.
• Record all activities in the company ERP and related digital systems.

Required profile

• Relevant experience or education in logistics, sales, or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and the regional language.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and vendor‑management capabilities.
• Integrity, ethical behavior, and willingness to perform extensive field work.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Familiarity with GPS‑based logistics tools.
