Sales Officer - Steel Products TMT, Raipur

About the role

Vinayak Outsourcing Works, a manufacturer of iron and steel products including TMT bars, HR/CR coils, ERW, GI and GP pipes, is hiring one Sales Officer in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The officer executes sales strategies, hits regional revenue and volume targets and maintains relationships with clients, channel partners or distributors. The role bridges frontline sales execution and supervisory guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and revenue quotas.
• Expand market penetration, product visibility and customer reach in the assigned zone.
• Build trust-based relationships with buyers, address complaints and resolve distributor or stock issues.
• Generate leads through prospecting, cold calls, field visits and product presentations, then negotiate pricing, contracts and payment terms while protecting company margins.
• Log customer interactions, track the sales pipeline and prepare regular sales and expense reports.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing moves and local demand trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of proven sales or B2B/B2C field experience.
• Willingness to travel locally within the territory; a valid driver's licence is often required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical thinking and resilience to rejection.
