About the role

The Sales Manager will work with Virtual Relationship Managers (VRMs) to serve a mapped book of high‑value HDFC Prime customers. These customers maintain an average monthly balance above INR 2 Lakhs and hold fixed deposits of at least INR 15 Lakhs. The role focuses on leveraging strong relationships to cross‑sell third‑party products and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of preferred customers assigned by VRMs.
  • Collaborate with tele‑callers who generate daily leads from existing HDFC Bank customers.
  • Visit leads in person, present BSLI products, and guide prospects to closure.
  • Maintain a dedicated land‑line for customer callbacks and ensure timely follow‑up.
  • Build strong relationships with VRM tele‑callers to maximize lead flow.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years of life‑insurance sales experience.
  • Experience in NBFC or banking sales is acceptable.
  • Average professional experience of 6‑8 years in phone‑banking or similar roles.
  • Age limit up to 30 years; gender neutral.
