About the role

Join IKEA’s new store in Chandigarh as a Store Coworker. You will be part of a dynamic team that creates a welcoming, omnichannel shopping experience for customers seeking home‑furnishing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers throughout their shopping journey, providing product knowledge and personalized advice.
• Maintain store presentation, stock levels, and accurate product placement.
• Support fulfilment processes, ensuring high product availability and timely deliveries.
• Utilise store systems and tools to manage goods flow and operational tasks.
• Collaborate across functions such as Sales, Customer Relations, Food, and Logistics as needed.
• Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards for a safe environment.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interest in home furnishing and understanding of everyday customer needs.
• Proactive, curious, and confident in communicating with people.
• Organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Customer‑first mindset with a results‑driven attitude.
