Sales Key Account Manager

About the role

Content Whale is seeking a Sales Key Account Manager to act as the primary liaison between our clients and internal teams. You will manage client relationships, understand business needs, and ensure successful delivery of content, SEO, and digital marketing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow long‑term relationships with assigned client accounts.
• Gather client goals, briefs, and timelines to translate into actionable project plans.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Content, SEO, Design, Web, and Email Marketing.
• Track project progress, ensure timely delivery, and provide regular updates to clients.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and account documentation.
• Address client concerns, manage escalations, and drive satisfaction.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities and support renewal processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in account management, client servicing, sales or business development.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented problem‑solver with a collaborative mindset.
• Experience in digital marketing, content creation or SEO environments is a plus.
