Sales Co-worker – 24h, 3 days a week

About the role

Join IKEA’s dynamic sales team in Navi Mumbai as a Sales Co‑worker, working 24 hours across three days each week. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right solutions for their homes while delivering the IKEA experience.

Key responsibilities

• Approach customers proactively, ask relevant questions and recommend suitable IKEA products.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, well‑priced and fully stocked sales area in line with IKEA merchandising standards.
• Promote and explain all IKEA services to enhance the customer shopping journey.
• Support and lead department‑specific commercial activities and action plans.
• Analyze sales space capacities and adjust product placement to maximise availability and profitability.
• Contribute to IKEA’s social and environmental commitments by promoting sustainable choices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a retail environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Goal‑driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Passion for design, aesthetics and IKEA’s product range.

Required skills

• Familiarity with IKEA sales and communication channels.
• Ability to use merchandising tools and sales location management systems.
• Understanding of basic sustainability principles.
