Sales Attendant – Customer Service & Product Demonstration

About the role

The Sales Attendant will work full‑time on‑site in Kanpur, welcoming visitors to our showroom, understanding their requirements and presenting our machinery and shoe‑accessory solutions. This position supports the sales team by delivering product demonstrations, preparing basic quotations and assisting with order processing.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess their needs and provide accurate product information.
• Demonstrate features of machinery and accessories, highlighting benefits and usage.
• Prepare simple quotations, sales notes and basic billing documents.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales area and ensure display items are stocked.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to confirm product availability for customers.
• Support the sales team in achieving targets and collect customer feedback for service improvement.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear, professional communication.
• Basic sales and retail experience, preferably in a walk‑in environment.
• Comfort with simple numerical tasks such as cash handling and preparing quotations.
• Ability to learn product terminology related to machinery and footwear accessories.
• High school diploma or equivalent; fluency in the local language and basic English.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site, including weekends or extended hours as needed.
