Retail Associate – Customer Service & Sales

About the role

As a Retail Associate you will help the store achieve its sales and profit targets by delivering excellent customer service, promoting the adidas brand and ensuring smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor store sales, KPI and individual performance targets and use store resources to meet or exceed them.
• Deliver brand‑standard customer service that exceeds expectations.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, consistently exhibiting the brand attitude and values.
• Apply seasonal brand and product knowledge during sales interactions.
• Communicate product features, benefits and unique selling points clearly to address customer needs.
• Adhere to all established policies, procedures, visual merchandising and in‑store communication standards.
• Process merchandise deliveries quickly, replenish fixtures, and ensure the full product range is represented on the sales floor.
• Complete cash register transactions quickly and accurately.
• Minimize loss in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
• Perform all store operations safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate respectfully with team members and seek coaching to improve performance.

Required profile

• High school education (mandatory).
• Preferably at least 6 months experience in a sports or fashion retail environment focused on customers and commercial results.
• Basic numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills.
• Retail professional competencies, including the ability to inspire consumer loyalty to the brand.
