Retail Associate – Customer Service & Sales

About the role

As a Retail Associate you will help the store achieve its sales and profit targets by delivering exceptional customer service, inspiring brand loyalty, and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will act as a brand ambassador, using product knowledge to connect customers with the adidas experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor store sales, KPI and personal performance targets and take ownership of meeting or exceeding them.
• Deliver the adidas Customer Service standards to exceed customer expectations.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, consistently demonstrating brand attitude and values.
• Utilise seasonal product knowledge during sales interactions and clearly communicate product features, benefits and unique selling points.
• Maintain visual merchandising and in‑store communication standards.
• Process merchandise deliveries promptly and keep the sales floor fully stocked.
• Complete cash register transactions quickly and accurately while minimizing loss.
• Perform all store operations safely, efficiently and in compliance with policies.
• Collaborate respectfully with team members and seek coaching to improve performance.

Required profile

• High school education (mandatory).
• Preferably at least 6 months experience in a sports or fashion retail environment focused on customer service and sales.
• Basic numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated retail professional competencies and a willingness to complete training programs.
