Restaurant Manager – Chennai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our Chennai restaurant. This hands‑on leadership position owns all aspects of operations, drives exceptional guest experiences, and builds a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities to ensure seamless service across all shifts.
• Set service standards that deliver warm, polished guest experiences.
• Recruit, coach, mentor and develop a diverse team, creating clear career pathways.
• Manage budgets, P&L, and financial controls to maximise profitability.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and health compliance with local regulations.
• Control inventory, ordering and vendor relationships to optimise cost and quality.
• Analyse performance data and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Handle customer concerns with empathy, turning issues into loyalty opportunities.
• Communicate performance, challenges and opportunities to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior leadership or management role within a high‑volume, quality‑driven restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong background in evening, late‑night and full‑service restaurant operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in budget management, P&L analysis and financial controls.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
