Resort Manager

About the role

The Resort Manager serves as the strategic business leader of the property, overseeing all operational areas and acting as General Manager in their absence. This senior position is responsible for delivering the brand’s service standards, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional guest and employee experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all property functions including Front Office, Retail, Recreation, Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Events.
• Develop and execute operational and brand strategies in collaboration with the Executive Committee.
• Monitor financial performance, manage departmental budgets, and control capital expenditures.
• Drive guest satisfaction while maintaining profit margins.
• Coach and support department heads to improve occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses.
• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field with 8 years experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 6 years experience in hospitality management, operations, sales or marketing.
• Proven leadership experience in managing large‑scale property operations.
