Researcher – Vibration Simulations & Structural Mechanics

About the role

We are looking for a researcher to lead advanced simulation of vibration and structural mechanics, focusing on material behavior under thermal loads. You will develop modeling strategies for automotive and industrial components and integrate physics‑based models with AI/ML techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run multi‑physics 3D simulations for vibration and structural analysis.
• Develop and validate material property models under varying thermal conditions.
• Write scripts and code (Python) to automate simulation workflows and ensure model quality.
• Collaborate with international teams to combine physics‑based approaches with AI/ML methods for improved accuracy and efficiency.

Required profile

• PhD or MTech in Material Science, Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in vibration modelling, solid/structural mechanics, and finite element analysis.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with Abaqus.
