Renewable Energy Commissioning Engineer

About the role

The Engineer – Asset Commissioning will lead the systematic commissioning of renewable energy assets, ensuring that wind, solar and hybrid projects meet performance specifications and operate reliably. This role involves close coordination with project teams, stakeholders and regulatory bodies to deliver fully functional power generation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans for wind, solar and hybrid projects, aligning with engineering specifications and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to gather connectivity, LTA/GNA and other technical information required for efficient project execution.
• Execute rigorous system testing and performance validation protocols to confirm that all equipment functions correctly under operational conditions.
• Conduct power performance analysis for wind turbines and ensure successful hand‑over of turbines from the project team.
• Maintain 100% turbine healthiness, diagnose technical issues, and implement corrective actions to sustain optimal performance.
